MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – AFTERNOON SHIFT
Location: Two Wells, SA
Rate:$45 per hour + Night Shift Allowance
Roster: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off | 12-Hour Shifts | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with a background in food or high-volume manufacturing? We’re seeking a reliable and trade-qualified technician to join a growing operation based in Two Wells. This role plays a key part in maintaining the smooth operation of large-scale glasshouses and associated machinery, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and support production efficiency.

About the Role:
You’ll be carrying out routine preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of plant equipment and infrastructure, including complex mechanical systems. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks in line with safety and quality standards.
• Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical faults to minimise equipment downtime.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns and emergency work orders.
• Manufacture components and carry out mechanical repairs as needed.
• Complete accurate maintenance records, feedback reports, and work orders.
• Liaise with internal teams including Growers, Maintenance, and HR to ensure work is prioritised and communicated effectively.
• Contribute to the development of procedures and ideas for continuous improvement.
• Follow all WHS and environmental policies, reporting incidents or hazards promptly.

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Electrical, or a similar discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a maintenance role.
• Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment is highly regarded.
• Proven ability to complete both preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial plant and equipment.
• Sound fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely and independently, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work weekends or public holidays as part of the 4-on/4-off roster.
