Chandler Macleod, in partnership with a leading aluminium can manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician
to join the team in Canning Vale.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrician to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting production line machinery and equipment, with a strong focus on electrical systems and operational support.
Key Details
- Location: Canning Vale, WA
- Roster: 2-2-3 Panama Schedule (12-hour shifts, 7 AM – 7 PM and 7 PM – 7 AM)
- Min hours: 36 – 38 hours per week
- Type: Ongoing assignment
- Shifts: Must be available for both day and night shifts
- Workload: 30% Electrical Maintenance / 70% Operational Support
- Experience in operating and maintaining automated processes
- Troubleshoot and maintain production line machinery and equipment
- Perform preventative and operational maintenance
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Participate in team-based problem-solving and training activities
- A-Grade Electrical License (essential)
- Other hazardous certifications HRWL, Confined space, EWP and Working at heights (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Allen Bradley PLCs
- Pilz safety systems
- Danfoss Drives
- Industrial control systems
- Fault finding
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Experience in automated manufacturing environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to support operations beyond core electrical duties
- Familiarity with SAP, MEX data base, and Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with quality systems and continuous improvement processes
- Experience with managing teams
