We’re partnering with a respected government regulatory agency to source an experienced Legal Officer
for an immediate start, 12-month assignment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with strong regulatory or prosecutorial experience looking to step into a high-impact role.
Key Responsibilities.
- Review and analyse complex briefs of evidence to assess sufficiency, admissibility, and legislative compliance
- Prepare and issue formal notices in line with statutory obligations
- Conduct interviews and provide legal representation in investigative and regulatory proceedings
- Legal qualifications and experience preparing/reviewing briefs of evidence
- Strong skills in assessing evidence and witness statements
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, project-based environment
- Flexibility across various regulatory or legal contexts
- Experience within government or statutory bodies is highly desirable, though not essential
- Meaningful work that contributes to regulatory outcomes
