Leading Hand/Team Leader - Expression of Interest

We are looking for a skilled Production Leading Hand to join our client's team at Osborne Park for an ASAP start! This position works across morning and afternoon shifts with overtime opportunities. Our client is seeking candidates with poultry processing experience who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate a team of up to 20 workers to ensure production targets are met
• Ensure products are produced in accordance with food safety standards (HACCP)
• Monitor production flow and equipment efficiency to maximize productivity
• Conduct quality checks and implement corrective actions when required
• Train staff and ensure all documentation is completed accurately
• Maintain workplace health and safety standards and environmental management practices
• Act as a point of contact for production staff and communicate effectively with management
• Lead by example through consistent adherence to quality and safety protocols
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III in Poultry Processing or equivalent food handling qualification highly regarded
• Proven experience in poultry processing operations
• Detailed knowledge of products and processes in food manufacturing
• Sound knowledge of food safety guidelines, ISO 9001, HACCP and WHS procedures
• Leadership experience or supervisory skills preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to make quick decisions and meet production targets
• Commitment to quality and food safety standards
• Permanent work rights in Australia required
• Own vehicle with current drivers licence
