Are you a procurement expert with experience leading supply chain transformation and delivering operational excellence? We’re seeking a Lead Procurement Specialist to join a high-performing government agency in Perth on a contract basis until October 2025.

This is a senior leadership role where you’ll drive strategic procurement initiatives, lead logistics and materials management, and implement best-practice supply chain solutions that align with corporate and community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement strategy, planning, and transformation initiatives
  • Oversee end-to-end logistics and materials management (catalogue, inventory audits, warehousing, product procurement)
  • Manage SAP and SRM e-Procurement systems, ensuring data integrity and efficiency
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams
  • Lead strategic sourcing, long-term contracting, and inventory optimisation
  • Deliver regular reporting on supply chain performance and financials
  • Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary procurement and logistics team
What You'll Bring:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Proven leadership in procurement and logistics within large or engineering-based organisations
  • Experience with SAP, SRM, and digital procurement tools
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
