Our client, a well-established national retail group, is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee procurement planning, supplier coordination, and import operations from their Loganholme office.
This is a key permanent role within a small, collaborative team, reporting to the General Manager. With accountability for over $1 million in stock, you’ll play a hands-on role in managing product flow from international suppliers through to national warehouse distribution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the end-to-end import process including supplier orders, freight bookings, customs clearance, and compliance
- Analyse sales trends and forecast stock needs to maintain availability while minimising surplus
- Monitor product performance to reduce obsolescence and ensure timely replenishment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support product updates across internal platforms
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and transport providers to ensure seamless dispatch operations
- Assist with warranty processing, order entry, and vendor documentation
- Engage with suppliers to support product planning and procurement cycles
What we’re looking for:
- Direct experience in inventory management, purchasing, or international freight coordination
- Solid understanding of import logistics, documentation, and supplier management
- Comfortable working with inventory management platforms and Excel-based reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, solution-focused, and confident working across different levels of the supply chain
- Knowledge of warehouse processes and WHS standards (First Aid certification desirable)
