Industrial Cleaner

Job Title: Cleaner – Cold Storage Facility

We are currently seeking a dedicated, reliable, and safety-conscious Cleaner to join our client's team at a busy cold storage facility. This role is ideal for someone who is thorough, punctual, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Compacting cardboard and plastic using our onsite baler
  
  
• Operating a push scrubber (training provided)
  
  
• Using a tugger to move pallets with bins (training provided; experience preferred)
  
  
• Spot cleaning of toilets, kitchen areas, and minor oil spills
  
  
• Emptying and moving green bins as needed
  
  
• Blowing out the dock area at lunchtime
  
  
• Wiping down dock surfaces and maintaining dock cleanliness
  
  
• Sweeping freezer aisles
  
  
• General scrubbing and mopping of designated areas
  
  
• Assisting with outside clean-up as required
  
  
• Moving boxes and various items across the facility
  
  
• Supporting basic maintenance tasks when needed
  
  

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience using a tugger and push scrubber (training provided if needed)
  
  
• Forklift licence and experience with warehouse equipment preferred, but not essential
  
  
• Strong awareness of Occupational Health & Safety practices
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  
• Must be physically fit and able to work in cold (-26 degrees) conditions
  
  
• Must be trustworthy, reliable, and punctual
  
  
• A clear National Police Check is required due to the nature of site access
