HR Advisor

About the role:
As an HR Advisor, you will provide crucial support to both managers and employees across a range of employee and industrial relations matters, including:

• Offering expert advice on daily employee relations and performance management issues to management
• Investigating and resolving employee performance concerns and related matters
• Ensuring compliance with HR policies, company guidelines, and legal requirements
• Performing general HR duties as needed to support the team and the organization

About You
Recent experience in handling employee relations and managing performance issues within a large, complex organisation. In addition, you will bring: 

• Qualifications in Human Resources along with a minimum of 2 years experience working within an industrial/blue collar environment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws, industrial relations and experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Excellent interpersonal and mediation skills ensuring discretion as required.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills including proficiency in using HRIS systems and MS Office Suite with accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and apply sound judgement operating in a fast-paced environment.
• Full Australian working rights (citizenship or permanent residency).
