Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking a Fraud Investigation Coordinator to join their busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment.


About the role

As a Fraud Investigation Coordinator, you will be part of a team responsible for investigations strategy, policy and capability function within the Fraud Investigation Branch. In addition, your key duties are as follow:

  • Assist in the development of business processes.
  • Assist in the development of training materials.
  • Support the planning and production of financial intelligence outputs and outcomes.
  • Gather, examin, evaluate and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and presenting the findings.
  • Assess information, analyse documents, data and other information, raise or refer issues, and provide appropriate support to forensic accountants.
  • Use and maintain information databases and other analytical tools to perform analysis, data extraction and manipulation for reporting tasks.
  • Provide administrative support for the team and or work area.
  • Use business systems such as Excel, iBase, Altia and CRM based system products.

About you

To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Previous experience in a learning and development environment and/or developing procedures.
  • Strong background in providing consistent and reliable technical support across the full fraud investigation function.
  • Ability to provide administrative support for the team and/or work area.
  • Ability to use a range of analytical tools and databases, collecting, collating and maintaining data records.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of decisions and activities using information business systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • $43.82 per hour + super
