Forklift Operator

Chandler Macleod are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at our aluminium manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aluminium products and raw materials throughout the factory.

Shift Time: Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 2.00pm  

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport aluminium materials.
• Supply production lines with necessary materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Inspect forklifts and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow all health and safety protocols in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

• Valid forklift license/certification.
• Proven experience operating forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, or both).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to [20] kg.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in aluminium or metal manufacturing is an asset.
