Financial Controller | Property Experience Preferred

Location:  Brisbane QLD (Hybrid)

Salary:$120,000 – $160,000 + Super

Employment Type: Permanent (Immediate Start | Temp-to-Perm or Part-Time Options Available)



A well-established property investment and management company based in Brisbane is seeking a Financial Controller to join their small, close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a CA or CPA-qualified finance professional to step into a broad and hands-on role with the flexibility to start immediately.


The business is offering a hybrid working model and is open to part-time or temporary arrangements for the right candidate. While this is a permanent position, interim solutions are welcome.



Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage weekly group cash flow
• Generate monthly invoices for rent, carparks, electricity, and water
• Process and pay supplier invoices
• Manage payroll and superannuation obligations
• Oversee lease administration and tenancy schedules
• Prepare and lodge BAS, manage budgets for outgoings and annual washups
• Coordinate with auditors and handle outgoing audits
• Reconcile inter-company loan accounts and quarterly balance sheets
• Process journals from external accountants

What We’re Looking For:

• CA or CPA qualification
• Previous experience in a similar hands-on finance role
• Property experience preferred(commercial or residential)
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the finance function
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
