Financial Controller

My client, an established property development/real estate business with an expansive portfolio of projects including residential/mix use is looking for a ‘Financial Controller’ on a permanent basis.
 
 
Role:                      Financial Controller
Salary:                   Depending upon experience

Location:                Sydney
 

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly financial reports including P&L & balance sheet
• Ownership of year-end statutory reporting
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for all entities
• Provide commentary and commercial insights to executive team
• Cash flow forecasts and management
• Supervise AR/AP, Payroll teams
• Coach, provide leaderships and mentor the team
• Plan and manage audit requirements
• Drive efficiency within the business
• Drive process improvements and technology enhancements

Job Requirements

• Accounting qualification
• CA/CPA qualified
• Ideally someone that has worked within the property/construction industry
• Intermediate to advanced Excel
• Someone that is analytical
• Ability to work in a faced past environment
• Excellent time management, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, both written and verbal
• Good work ethic with a can-do attitude
• People management experience
