Farm Hand

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking farm hand to join our client’s team in Angaston. You will be working hands-on with chickens and roosters in a dynamic and diverse role, performing a variety of different farm tasks. Starting times may vary, and weekend work will be required. This role is best suited for candidates living around the Gawler area and is available for immediate start.

Duties for this role will include:

• Floor walking and egg collection.
• Cleaning out sheds and roosts.
• Administering vaccinations.
• General farm labour.
• Basic farm maintenance.

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Must not live or have regular contact with any birds or pigs due to quarantine requirements.
• Willing to work with live birds.
• Able to perform continuous manual handling, up to 20kgs.
• Excellent physical fitness to sustain a repetitive, physical role.
• Availability to work 6-day roster.
• Own vehicle and current driver's license.
• Working Rights in Australia.
• Positive, energetic and hardworking attitude.
• Strong focus on safety and good knowledge of safe work practices.
