Are you an organised, proactive professional with a passion for logistics and coordination? We're looking for a Hire Coordinator to join our clients dynamic team and play a key role in supporting the equipment hire operations.

About the Role


As the Hire Coordinator, you'll be the central point of contact for all equipment hire activities. You'll ensure seamless processes from customer enquiry to invoicing, and join the hire team in delivering high-quality service and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain documented processes for the department, including dispatch and spare parts.
  • Manage day-to-day hire and equipment invoicing, resolve queries, and oversee end-of-month billing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all equipment transactions and departmental activities.
  • Process hire documentation including quotes, contracts, bookings, and returns.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service through timely rental quotes, availability checks, and contract management.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal teams including Sales, Warehouse, and Transport.
  • Oversee the hire and sale process of equipment, ensuring accurate preparation of agreements, invoices, and related documents.
  • Lead and support the team in using the MSC equipment hire and service system effectively.
  • Ensure team compliance with equipment inspections, work order tracking, and operational accuracy.
About You
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the equipment hire or logistics industry
  • Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across departments
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Experience with hire management or service systems is highly desirable
  • Customer-focused mindset with a solutions-oriented approach
