About the role:

•    Engaging internal stakeholders to examine processes and data, identifying gaps in process, system and key areas of concern for potential non-compliance and fraudulent behaviours. 
•    Providing accurate and specialised advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management. 
•    Performing independent research and analysis on fraud and non-compliance risks and developing supporting documentation for profile development. 
•    Maintaining knowledge and understanding the context, goals and key performance indicators of the business area. 
•    Undertaking day-to-day analytical work on a range of tasks including regular and one-off analyses and ‘ad hoc’ requests. 
•    Supporting branch reporting through maintenance of reporting tools and assisting with monthly and quarterly reports requiring use of tools and interpretation of data.


Essential criteria

•    Data Extraction and Reporting: Extract and produce a range of data, statistics, and reports using Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and SQL queries. 
•    Data Visualisation: Prepare data visualisations and reports in SAS Visual Analytics (VA) 
•    Project Delivery: Assisting in the delivery of projects by preparing consistent, accurate and timely scheduled and ad hoc data request and interpreting data for operational information and reporting purposes. 
•    Stakeholder engagement: Manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve work area goals. Communicate and negotiate with clients or stakeholders under limited direction, to maximise acceptance and cooperation. 
•    Business Knowledge: Provide expertise and technical knowledge across a range of programs or activities including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management. 
•    Detection Profile Development and Implementation: Supporting detection profile development including requirements, design, testing, training, and rollout.
•    Supporting the team and other initiatives as directed, including managing, or responding to enquiries including email and Service Desk tickets


Benefits:


•    ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
•    12 Months contract with possibility to be extended
•    Full time hours Monday to Friday 
•    Melbourne location
•    Rate: $60.26 hourly + Super
