Are you an experienced Conveyancing Officer looking to work on high-impact land and property development projects with a WA Government agency? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join a respected government department for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing land sales and acquisitions in line with government policies and procedures
  • Monitoring settlements using in-house systems to ensure accurate forecasts
  • Negotiating with internal stakeholders, buyers, and external agents on settlement-related matters
  • Preparing and reconciling settlement statements, including rates and taxes adjustments
  • Lodging legal documents and conducting electronic settlements via PEXA
  • Coordinating variations, substitute purchasers, and removing encumbrances
  • Maintaining records using systems such as Clarity and Objective
  • Handling customer enquiries and ensuring compliance with contract conditions post-settlement
  • Assisting financial institutions with mortgage registration and refinances
  • Liaising with settlement agents, sales officers, real estate professionals, legal counsel, and Landgate
  • Ensuring full compliance with internal policies and external legislative requirements
About You:
  • 3-5 years’ experience   in property conveyancing, including preparation of complex documents
  • Strong working knowledge of PEXA, Landgate systems, and land subdivision processes
  • The ability to interpret Contracts of Sale, standard conditions, and relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence using digital tools such as Map Viewer, Clarity, and Objective
  • Experience in a values-aligned government or public sector environment is desirable
