About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer to join a leading mining company based in Perth. This role is integral in ensuring the safe, cost-effective, and reliable operation of civil and structural assets throughout their lifecycle. As part of this role, you will provide technical expertise, support maintenance and operations teams, and contribute to the development and delivery of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide expert advice on civil and structural assets to maintenance, operations, project, and commercial teams.
• Standards Compliance: Conduct reviews against engineering standards to support project development and delivery.
• Engineering Analysis: Perform analysis to inform or support specialist recommendations.
• Integrity Programs: Adhere to and contribute to improvements in the civil and structural integrity programs.
• Asset Management: Develop and implement strategies for the whole of life of civil and structural assets.
• Risk Communication: Highlight and communicate business risks related to civil and structural assets and prioritize remediation.
• Collaboration & Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance asset reliability and management processes and collaborate with Business Units and Sites to share best practices.
• Change Management: Review Management of Change processes and maintenance system updates.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in the technical discipline and asset lifecycle management.
• Communication: Strong ability to present technical information to non-specialist stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Able to address a range of engineering challenges using defined procedures and solutions.
• Professional Background: A background in engineering discipline and technical writing.
