The client is a large federal government agency focused on providing high quality mental health assessment and clinical counselling services. You will be working with a professional team who are all dedicated to making a different in the lives of their clients.

About the role:

  • You will be responsible for the provision of high quality and evidence based clinical services including intake assessment, referrals and complex case management.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating a caseload across a wide range of individuals and their families.
  • You will be maintaining clinical records, and report writing as required.
  • You will be collating and analysing client data.
  • You will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate level of care is assigned.
  • You will be getting involved in community development projects as required.

About you:
  • You will have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA) as either a Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Registered Psychologist
  • Or you will be a qualifed Social Worker with membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Or you will have a Masters Degree in Counselling plus registration with PACFA as a Registered Clinical Counsellor or with ACA at Level 3 or Level 4.
  • You will have a Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance ideally, or have it granted before commencing the role.
  • You will have experience in a similar clinical role
  • You will have extensive case management experience.
  • You will be passionate about clinical psychology and social work to support mental health initiatives.

Benefits:
  • Casual temp contract to start ASAP (pending federal police clearance)
  • Ongoing temporary assignment up to 2 years with potential for extension 
  • $65 per hour plus super
  • Full time role Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day 
  • Darwin location
