Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across Sydney, specifically focusing on warehousing solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver customised warehousing and distribution solutions that optimise their supply chain. You will also be instrumental in promoting innovative and efficient services, including inventory management, storage solutions, and transportation services, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

This is a strategic position that requires a deep understanding of warehousing and logistics, along with the ability to drive new business and build long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business development strategies to secure new clients and grow the warehousing business throughout Sydney.
  
  
• Identify and evaluate emerging market trends, assessing potential opportunities within warehousing and logistics.
  
  
• Work with clients to provide tailored warehousing solutions that address their specific supply chain requirements, including inventory management, storage, and distribution.
  
  
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, suppliers, and partners.
  
  
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  
  
• Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve business objectives, increase market share, and drive overall growth.
  
  
• Stay ahead of industry trends to continuously innovate and improve service offerings.
  
  

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in business development, specifically within the warehousing or logistics industry.
  
  
• Strong understanding of warehousing operations, including inventory control, storage solutions, and distribution services.
  
  
• Ability to deliver customised warehousing solutions that streamline supply chains and maximise operational efficiency.
  
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  
  
• Ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities within the logistics and warehousing sector.
  
  
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive approach.
  
  
• Based in Sydney or willing to relocate.
