Location: Brisbane
Pay Rate:$85–$95 per hour + super
Contract: 24-month assignment
Classification: AO8 (Public Sector)

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Project Manager to lead infrastructure and planning initiatives within a government department. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with experience in managing complex programs and delivering measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage teams responsible for the delivery of infrastructure and planning programs.
• Develop program plans, guidelines, and risk assessments to support delivery objectives.
• Provide high-level reports, briefings, and presentations to senior executives and stakeholders.
• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with internal planning teams to drive improvements in program performance.
• Manage HR activities including team performance development planning (PDPs).
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of programs aligned with strategic priorities.
• Manage resources effectively including human, financial, and physical assets.

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale projects or programs, ideally within a government or infrastructure context.
• Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefings, reports, and presentations.
• Ability to drive performance, manage risk, and deliver results in complex environments.
• Familiarity with government reporting processes and governance standards is desirable.
