AO7 Principal Infrastructure Services Officer 

We are seeking an experienced and driven Principal Infrastructure Services Officer to support claims management operations within a large government department. This role will lead policy reviews, improve internal processes, and guide best practices in managing insurance-related matters.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in change management and policy development, ideally within an insurance or finance-related environment.

Role Details:

• Location: Brisbane CBD
• Contract Length: 3-year assignment
• Work Model: Hybrid
• Pay Rate: $80–$83 per hour + super

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the review of existing insurance-related procedures, ensuring alignment with internal frameworks and relevant government policies
• Develop clear and accessible documents and guides to support claims processes for internal stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across claims handling practices and team workflows
• Oversee the review and enhancement of procedures related to claims through relevant insurance and recovery frameworks

About You:

• Experienced in policy and procedure development in complex or government environments
• Background in insurance, finance, or risk management
• Skilled in leading change and improving processes across teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
