AO3 - Program Support Officer                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Pay Rate: $49.40 – $54.81 / Hour                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Location: Buderim                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Contract: 12 Month with Possible Extension
 
About the Role                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              We are seeking a motivated and organised Program Support Officer to join a high-performing government team based in Buderim. In this AO3 level role, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of operational and project outcomes through a broad range of administrative and coordination tasks.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vehicle fleet operations including servicing, logbooks, leasing, and utilisation tracking
  • Oversee car park usage and related facilities
  • Coordinate staff travel, in-house training and resource bookings
  • Support facilities maintenance coordination
  • Assist with onboarding and induction of new staff and contractors
  • Perform procurement and purchasing duties, including ordering PPE
  • Maintain various registers, databases, and internal systems
  • Provide frontline phone reception and handle external enquiries
  • Manage courier and mail deliveries
  • Support tender registration and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with WH&S and security access protocols
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of operational systems
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong administrative and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and internal systems/databases
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A collaborative, proactive, and customer-focused mindset
Working hours: Monday to Friday, up to 38 hours per week between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
