Ancillary Operators

Chandler Macleod, a leading name in the mining sector, is seeking experienced Ancllary Operators - All Rounders to join our prestige client. With a family friendly roster available, including 8 days on 6 days off, 7 nights on 7 off.  Tuesday to Tuesday roster, we offer opportunities throughout the Pilbara region. Enjoy flexible working schedules, competitive remuneration of $60 -$70 per hour (based on experience) with superannuation on ALL hours worked, industry-leading EAP, and dedicated consultant support throughout your tenure with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct High-Quality operations with accuracy and precision.
• Adhere to operational procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure operational excellence.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and project objectives.

Qualifications And Skills:

• Minimum of 12 months’ experience as a Heavy Machine Operator in mining environments.
• Machine Operation Certifications.
• Valid WA Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence (HR).
• Experience operating any 3 or more of the following machines in a mining environment.

1. Excavator/Rockbreaker – CAT 390 / CAT 374RB (90T or more) Liebherr 9400 or 9600
2. Wheel and Track Dozers – CAT 854K / D10T2 / D11 (Steep Terrain dozer experience desirable, but not essential) 
3. Wheel Loader – CAT 992 or 994
4. Grader – CAT 18M -24M 

Essesntials: 

• Prior experience with the Frontrunner Autonomous Haulage System experience is desirable, however not essential.
• Proven adherence to safety standards and protocols in a mining or heavy industry setting.
• Effective team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
