About the Client:
Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking for two (2) Administration Officers to join their busy team for a long term casual temporary assignment for 12 months.


About the Role
As an Administration Officer, you will be providing secretariat support for all Home and Living decisions. In addition, your key duties are as follows:

  • Support Agency teams with Home and Living enquiries.
  • Resolve issues and complaints in relation to participant Home and Living applications.
  • Lead and contribute to the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage, collate, interpret and analyse data to produce reports and dashboards that inform strategic and operational planning.
  • Contribute to the achievement of key performance indicators, including planning targets.
  • Monitor and action correspondence, assign and action internal work items.
  • Coach, mentor staff and provide support on established technical, operational and administrative activities, procedures, practices and program/project objectives.

 
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • Proven experience as an Administration Officer, within the disability, health, aged care, or government sector
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and experience working with spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage various internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisation and time management skills

  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • $55.24 per hour + super
