Accounts Receivables Specialist

Our client AGL is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable professional to join their Shared Services team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, financial reporting, invoicing, reconciliations, and debt collection across all sites and locations. This is a Sydney CBD based hybrid role for 12 months.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that supports our Procure-to-Pay processes and engages with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities
•    Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
•    Coordinate with Project Managers to resolve outstanding issues.
•    Report key AR metrics monthly.
•    Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
•    Support month-end AR tasks and reporting.

About You You’re a motivated finance professional with a strong understanding of AR processes and a knack for problem-solving. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working cross-functionally to deliver results.

Skills & Experience
•    Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance roles in large corporate in complex environments.
•    Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
•    Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.
•    Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
