Hitoshi Motohara

Director and Chairman
Chandler Macleod Group

Mr. Motohara joined Chandler Macleod in 2015 as chairman when Chandler Macleod became a part of Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Recruit is currently the fourthfifth-largest staffing firm in the world. Mr. Motohara is a managing corporate executive officer of Recruit Holdings, responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand Recruit’s business internationally.

Mr. Motohara joined Recruit Holdings in 1983, beginning his career with the company as a sales and marketing associate and rising to the position of CEO of Recruit Media Communications. In 2003, he became CEO of Recruit Staffing and began expanding the company’s staffing operations. In 2008, Mr. Motohara became CEO of Staff Services, the number one staffing firm in Japan, following Recruit’s acquisition of the company.

He is a graduate of Hiroshima Shudo University School of Law in Japan, served for two years as the President of Japan Staffing Services Association and has been named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of the top 100 most influential people in the staffing industry.

 

Michelle Loader

Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director
Chandler Macleod Group

Michelle’s tenure with Chandler Macleod Group began in February 2012, when in her role as CEO; she successfully led the sale of AHS to Chandler Macleod Group. With almost 25 years of experience in the service sector and outsourced management solutions, Michelle leads a team of 38,000 people across 5 countries, in partnership with over 4,000 clients.

Michelle is a visionary leader who measures both her personal success and that of her company against a clear purpose – to unleash potential. Growing up on a farm in rural Victoria, Michelle’s personal philosophy is that anything is possible through hard work and dedication, something she applied when beginning her career with some of Australia’s leading hospitality providers.

Michelle is a graduate of Harvard Business School of Executive Education and a former Telstra Business Woman of the Year.  She is passionate about authentic communication and is a proud ambassador of the Jargon Free Fridays revolution, changing the way we communicate in business, she is also a founding Director of the International Women’s Forum – Australian chapter; a networking organization helping women to connect and grow as leaders.

Her commitment to unleashing potential is continuous and when she is not doing so on the job, she can be found spending quality time at home with her husband and two young daughters. 

 

Shin Yamamoto

Chief Corporate Administrative Officer
Chandler Macleod Group

Shin joined Chandler Macleod Group in 2015, having spent the previous three years in International Staffing at Recruit Holdings Co. in Tokyo and London.

As the Chief Corporate Administration Officer at Chandler Macleod Group, Shin’s responsibilities include being the Global Liaison and Integration manager, as well as driving business performance under the Unit Management philosophy, and ensuring strong governance.

At CMG, Shin has experienced success in transitioning the business from the former management strategy as a listed company, to a private company when acquired by Recruit.

Having played a key role in the acquisition and transition of CMG, Shin has been instrumental in driving the year-on-year growth and people development of Chandler Macleod.

 

Tania Sinibaldi

Chief Operating Officer
Staffing Services 

With 21 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, Tania believes that creativity, grit, and trust are essential to success. Why? Creativity focuses on breaking the habit of doing the same things that achieve the same results. Unlocking the creative part of the mind means we think of new ways of working to increase performance. Grit is something Tania believes can be taught – people can learn from failures and find a way to make it work. By improving performance or productivity, which includes everyone in Staffing Services, no one is excluded as they can teach each other how to be successful.

Tania’s hard work and determination were recognised when she won the 2016 Telstra WA Business Women’s Award – Corporate & Private Category.

Tania’s key accountabilities, experience, and achievements as Chief Operating Officer at Chandler Macleod are in the areas of Financial Management, Risk, People, Customer Relationship Development, and Process & Systems.

Leadership is an important aspect of Tania’s role; Tania dedicates time to ensure that Chandler Macleod Group is providing a safe environment to unleash the potential of all team members.

 

Frank Gilmartin

Executive General Manager
Aurion

Frank began his tenure as Executive General Manager in March 2016, having spent the past six years as the GM of Commercial at Aurion, and the five years preceding that as Aurion’s Commercial Manager and Co-Secretary.
 
Tasked with leading the Aurion business unit, and positioning them as the HRIS application of choice for enterprise employers. Frank has achieved success negotiating commercial deals with Aurion’s larger customers, providing solutions to their internal HRIS issues, and providing a guiding hand to the Aurion team involved in day-to-day customer project delivery.  Frank prides himself in providing quality customer outcomes, whilst ensuring that business is done in a profitable method for Aurion’s stakeholders
 
As a father, Frank now finds himself with the time and passions to mentor two young adult sons as they enter the next phase of their education. Golf is his free time indulgence.
 

Jason Kuner

Executive General Manager
AHS Hospitality

A hospitality professional with more than 25 years’ experience, Jason joined AHS Hospitality in 2013.

Having held senior roles in hospitality, outsourcing service solution organisations and managed service operations, Jason brings a wealth of experience to the Group Leadership Team.

With a track record of effective team management, Jason is focused on the development of the AHS team; to enhance their client focussed service delivery and interactions, and to ensure seamless hotel operations.
 

Jason is passionate about developing teams and has achieved significant success through the effective management of team dynamics. Jason has a keen focus on growing businesses through tailored solutions designed to deliver success for clients and customers.

 

Jey Thani

Executive General Manager
Vivir Healthcare

Jey became the Executive General Manager of Vivir Healthcare in 2016, having served as the General Manager of Operations for the 3 years prior.

As Executive General Manager, Jey’s responsibilities include leading the growth of Vivir Healthcare to achieve positive results in financial performance, customer satisfaction, and business improvement. Other key responsibilities include the design and execution of various strategies, mentoring and developing Vivir Healthcare team members, ensuring the delivery of targets and achieving KPI’s, and the development and promotion opportunities across CMG divisions.

As a healthcare professional and physiotherapist with more than 10 years’ experience, Jey possesses a deep understanding of aged care, disability legislation, and quality of care. This is balanced with his commercial acumen and business management experience that enabled Jey to achieve significant development in the centralisation of operations at Vivir Healthcare, and the growth of services including Dietetics, Speech Pathology, and Occupational Therapy.

Jey is passionate about delivering services that will improve the quality of life for Australian elderly and people with disabilities, as well as ensuring the provision of quality customer service and continuous business improvement.

 

Daman Patterson

Executive General Manager - People
Chandler Macleod Group

Daman’s career at CMG began in 2002, and he has worn many different hats over the years. Having worked across Consulting, Organisational Development, and Learning & Development amongst others, Daman has held the role of EGM of People & Culture since 2013.

Daman is responsible for the People function of CMG, driving engagement and performance. He is also responsible for the strategic leadership of Chandler Macleod People Insights business; driving strategy, execution, and growth. Daman prides himself on his ability to build culture and teams, as well as supporting and facilitating development and growth in people, and providing continuous improvement, efficiency, and quality in human and organisational behaviour overall.

Daman enjoys cycling, the latest gadgets and tech, and spending time with his wife and children.

 

Gavin Dean

Executive General Manager - Finance
Chandler Macleod Group

Gavin has worked for Chandler Macleod Group since 2012, having begun his career with CMG as the AHS Hospitality Commercial Director; Gavin has held the position of Executive General Manager of Finance at CMG since 2015.

As the Executive Manager of Finance, Gavin’s key responsibilities include maximising profitability by contributing specialist expertise to the development and execution of Group strategy, leading the Group Finance function to manage and control the company’s present financial position, forecasting and advising to protect and improve the Group’s future financial position, and managing financial reporting, analysis, policy, governance, and compliance.

At Chandler Macleod Group, Gavin achieved success in managing the integration of AHS Hospitality and Vivir into the Chandler Macleod Group systems and processes, and was responsible for the realignment and restructure of Finance and Group functions following the acquisition of CMG by Recruit Holdings.

Gavin takes pride in his extensive background in analysis, process improvement, and system implementation, with a focus on productivity and efficiency in the workplace, and always looking for opportunities to improve individual, team, and business performances.

 

Quentin Hearn

Group Manager - Occupational Health & Safety
Chandler Macleod Group

Quentin has been a part of the Chandler Macleod Group family for almost 10 years, providing OH&S expertise in South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory. Quentin has been based in Perth as the Group Manager of O&HS for more than 4 years.

As the General Manager of OH&S, Quentin contributes to business sustainability by leading the business toward best case safety outcomes. In his time at Chandler Macleod Group, supported by a high performing team, Quentin has guided the business away from a compliance-based approach, toward a best case outcome approach. This has resulted in significant reductions in human suffering and costs, with safety now viewed as both an organisational value and a competitive advantage.

In 2014, Quentin and the OH&S team’s work and influence upon the business resulted in Chandler Macleod winning the MacLean Safety Award - the recruitment industry’s formal recognition of CMG’s safety excellence.

 

Greg Coolahan

Executive General Manager - Legal & Risk
Chandler Macleod Group

Leading the Legal and Risk functions of Chandler Macleod Group, Greg guides and directs corporate compliance, legal values, risk management, ensures  good governance, and facilitates commercially sound business activities.

With over 40 years of legal and commercial management experience, Greg provides integrity and communication across all branches of Chandler Macleod Group. During his time with Chandler Macleod Group, Greg has provided key insight and expertise during the acquisitions of AHS Hospitality, Vivir, and Trilogy Resources.

At Chandler Macleod, Greg has valued working with the enormous diversity of people, ideas, and issues across all functions of business. Each day provides new challenges, but Greg takes great pride in enabling the people around him to meet and understand their opportunities and strengths, and to help them achieve their goals.

 

Fiona Defina

General Manager - Insurance
Chandler Macleod Group

Fiona began her career at Chandler Macleod in 2008 as National Injury Management Advisor and then Group Manager, Workers Compensation.

As the General Manager of Insurance, Fiona is tasked with ensuring the delivery of proactive, best-practice injury management strategies that maximise employee well-being and align with commercial objectives, as well as optimizing CMG’s worker’s compensation insurance arrangements, and providing premium analysis and forecasting to support commercial decisions.

Fiona has achieved success at CMG in creating substantial and sustained premium savings across the group, provided a competitive advantage with the premium rate halving throughout her employment, and redesigned the CMG Injury Management approach and function, resulting in improved outcomes throughout the business. Fiona prides herself on high-quality service delivery and maintaining value of offering to the core business.

Fiona’s two young daughters absorb most of her free time, energy, and love.

 

Tracey Ferreira

Group Manager - Marketing
Chandler Macleod Group

Tracey began her role as the Group Manager for Marketing in 2015, after 10 years as the Chief Executive, Director, and Owner of Decoder, a celebrated marketing and communications agency. With over 25 years of client and agency experience, Tracey brings with her a wealth of strategic ability and insights into tactical execution to provide brands with the opportunity to influence consumers to make a decision that is personally rewarding for them.

At Chandler Macleod Group, Tracey has been responsible nurturing and developing the portfolio of Chandler Macleod brands to build brand value and deliver stronger customer experiences, while also achieving the integration of creativity, innovation, and agile approaches to ensure continuous improvement in a digitally disrupted marketplace.

Tracey’s career has covered many leading corporate brands including Publicis Mojo, M&C Saatchi, Citibank, and Suncorp. In 1996 Tracey was awarded the Australian Young Direct Marketer of the Year (ADMA), and has lead creative and strategy teams that have achieved numerous national industry awards and recognition.

Tracey believes that ideas are new combinations; nothing can come from nothing, but copying is lazy. The best way to innovate is to look at the best of that which came before, and combine those elements into new solutions.
