Reconciliation Action Plan.
Ou RAP was developed internally with the support of a guiding hand from Reconciliation Australia. It will act as our compass as we consciously navigate creating change within our industry.
The Chandler Macleod Group Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan is our first step to embedding organisational respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.
We aim to build and sustain trusting relationships within Indigenous communities, laying the foundation for delivering real and lasting opportunities for economic participation and independence.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have a special relationship with fire; it is a place that brings people together as an important part of story-telling and sharing of knowledge.
Chandler Macleod Group recognises this connection and we proudly represent this in our design by displaying the colours of orange and yellow. The fire’s energy ignites and ties a bond between the people and their community.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan journey requires patience to listen, learn and understand the pathway we all must take in keeping the fire burning bright.
We are determined to increase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation in our workforce and are passionate about empowering our clients to do the same. With this in mind, we created Solid Start, a bespoke program aimed at supporting our vision for closing the gap in Indigenous employment.
