This Federal government agency promotes and improves gender equality in Australian workplaces, through the provision of advice and assistance to employers and the assessment and measurement of workplace gender data. This agency is known for having a great culture across different teams.  A great opportunity for Governance Reporting Officer to join this busy team on an ongoing temporary casual basis.
 
The APS4 Reporting Governance Officer will undertake program governance activities to ensure employers are correctly registered to lodge annual reports and have received all relevant reporting communications to help them understand their reporting obligations. The role will also involve generating reports for account record maintenance activities.
Duties and responsibilities:

  • This position reports to the Gender Equality Programs Business Analyst and is accountable for:  undertaking governance activities within the reporting program and generating data reports to identify employers who may need additional assistance lodging their report
  • maintaining accurate records in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system relating to employers, contacts, reporting hierarchies and program participation
  • escalating issues to more Senior staff to ensure timely resolution of employer enquiries
Capabilities:
We are seeking individuals with the following skills and capabilities:
  • customer centric focus with the ability to provide high quality service to internal and external stakeholders
  • sound written and verbal communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to present messages in a clear, concise manner and tailor communication styles to suit the audience
  • previous CRM experience (Salesforce desirable) and the ability to learn how to use different systems and programs
  • sound computer literacy, including an intermediate level of experience using MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • demonstrate an understanding or ability to rapidly gain an understanding of the Act
  • work independently and flexibly, with limited supervision, analysing and using some judgement to select an appropriate course of action in a busy office environment.
This includes taking a proactive approach and personal responsibility for accurate and timely completion of work.
✓ Baseline Security Clearance or the ability to obtain clearance (this includes being an Australian Citizen)
Benefits:

•    ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
•    12 months assignment with potential extension
•    Full time hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm
•    Sydney CBD location – close to major transport links
•    $45 per hour + super
