Field Operator Roles

As a Field Operator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability of our operations. From monitoring equipment to managing processes, your contributions will be vital to our success.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactive monitoring of refinery equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Compliance with HSSE practices and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
• Optimisation of process efficiency and profitability, driving continuous improvement.
• Competency in designated work areas, ensuring smooth operations.
• Maintenance tasks and equipment preparation to uphold operational integrity.
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting to address issues promptly.
• Utilisation of electronic information systems for data management.
• Support in managing the PTW system and maintenance planning.
• Sampling and laboratory testing to maintain product quality standards.
• Communication and collaboration with team members for seamless operations.
• Assistance in emergency response roles, ensuring a safe working environment.

You will need

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor facilities.
• Capability to handle stressful situations with composure.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

Hours of Work

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Four shifts on, four days off.
• Day shifts and night shifts between 0700-1900 and 1900-0700.
• Over a 35 day roster you will perform 7x12 hour day shifts and 7 x 12 hour night shifts
• Overtime expected up to 24 hours per month.
