We are currently seeking a Pallet Controller
who will be ensuring the accurate tracking, reconciliation, and movement of pallets across various sites. You’ll work closely with both internal departments and external partners to maintain correct records and resolve discrepancies, supporting the smooth flow of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly asset movements for accurate and timely transaction recording between DC, suppliers, and vendors
- Reconcile weekly vendor invoices, ensuring 100% account compliance
- Meet end-of-month targets by completing all weekly reconciliations
- Process daily pallet dehires and transfer back to vendor accounts
- Maintain and organise supporting documents (pallet dockets, VPS, dehire slips, etc.)
- Conduct daily compliance checks and report outcomes
- Manage asset transfers to suppliers, carriers, and other sites with accuracy
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to support and improve process compliance
- Investigate discrepancies to minimise pallet loss through effective stakeholder collaboration
- Troubleshoot asset movement issues and respond to queries promptly and accurately
- Prepare accurate, timely reports on asset activity and account performance
- Partner with DC operations to uphold process compliance
Knowledge & Experience:
Essential
- Understanding of asset management (pallets, crates, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Gmail
- Experience in cross-docking environments
- Familiarity with CHEP, Loscam, and VPS online portals
- Experience using 2ic software
- Exposure to SAP and warehouse systems (e.g. JDA Blue Yonder, WMS 5.4)
- Background in pallet control and invoicing
