Casual Cleaner

Job Title: Casual Cleaner (Monday – Saturday)

Location:  Lemnos

Position Type: Casual, Approx. 15 hours per week (increased during school holidays)

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our cleaning team! This is a casual cleaning position with shifts available on a Monday – Saturday roster. The role involves day shifts from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, afternoon shifts from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and Saturday shifts from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This position is available year-round, with no shutdowns or public holidays.

Key Details:

• Hourly Rate:$24.90 per hour + casual loading + penalties for Saturdays
• Uniform: Supplied and laundered onsite
• Shift Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with varying hours
• 52 weeks a year with no shutdowns

Responsibilities:

• Clean the factory floor (loud and hot environment)
• Clean toilets, urinals, bathrooms, offices, and the canteen
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty bins
• Restock paper goods
• Perform some admin cleaning duties

Requirements:

• Current Police Check(mandatory)
• Ability to work independently on your feet for 3 hours without a break
• Steel cap boots (supplied by the employee) must be stored on-site to prevent cross-contamination

As this is a hospatility site you:

• Must wear no jewelry(including piercings or teeth jewelry)
• No false nails, lashes
• Hair nets are compulsory
• Facial hair must always be covered with a supplied beard net while on the factory floor
