Our Story
Chandler Macleod began in 1959 with a belief that was ahead of its time: to truly understand performance, you need to understand people.
Founded by Alf Chandler and Doug Macleod as Australia's first firm of registered psychologists, we built our reputation by looking beyond qualifications and experience to understand what drives human behaviour and helps people succeed within a particular role, team and organisation.
That curiosity has defined us ever since.
We dig deeper than a CV, an interview or a list of skills. We seek to understand a person's motivations, personality, capabilities and preferred ways of working, as well as the environment in which they will perform at their best.
