Chandler Macleod are currently taking applications for a casual Yard Hand for a busy Poultry Production Company located in Beresfield.

To be considered for this position you must have a current forklift (LF) ticket and HC licence.

Working within a small team, the successful applicant will need to be motivated and not afraid of a challenge. The role involves working in an environment that can be dusty and loud, working around raw poultry products and completing manual handling tasks throughout the shift. The successful applicant will be required to load and unload trailers & tubs using the LF, moving trailers around onsite and allocating products to correct trucks.

The Right Candidate will:

  • Hold current HC licence and LF ticket
  • Have experience operating HC vehicles and forklifts
  • Be physically fit with no injuries as these roles will involve manual handling
  • Can follow work instructions and work autonomously
  • Be mindful of safety procedures
  • An excellent work ethic and a willingness to work extra shifts at short notice
  • Be comfortable working in an environment exposed to dust and working around raw products including offal.
