Workplace Service Officer

We at Chandler Macleod are currently seeking a temporary Workplace Service Officer for our highly sought client based in Traralgon. The ideal person will have strong customer service experience, business support and administrative background.

Key Responsibilities

  • managing faults, repairs and maintenance within the tenancy areas, through a work order management process and onsite attendance by contractors
  • servicing customers on a wide range of building and operational matters
  • undertake the required audits and site inspections to provide a safe and functional workplace - support meeting room and corporate event setups
  • provision and management of site security and cleaning services
  • fleet car management, booking systems and operational taxi transport

    The successful candidate will work onsite in the Workplace Services team in the Traralgon office. They will undertake general administrative tasks outlined in the duty statement below. You may also be required to spend time on the service desk from time to time to assist with inquires as required.

    DUTY STATEMENT
  • Undertake a wide range of Workplace Services, including Facilities Management activities, to service our clients inline with our Five Star service offering
  • Under general direction, perform administrative and procedural tasks governed by well-established work practices, operating policies, or precedent
  • Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders including responding to and escalating issues as required
  • Work collaboratively in a team based environment which includes actively participating in, and contributing to, team meetings and supporting the business objectives
  • Solve problems that may be complex yet broadly similar to previous situations, and solutions generally can be found in documented precedents or procedures
  • Understand specific stakeholder needs and interpret a variety of legislation, policies and procedures and measure compliance with these
  • Participate in the development and training activities of the work area and take steps to identify and meet own learning and development needs
  • Understand and apply the knowledge, experience and skills required by the work area to achieve business outcomes

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Current driver's license is highly regarded
  • Patience, neat professional dress sense, professionalism
  • This role requires physical ability: the successful applicant will be required to frequently walk and take stairs, as well as lifting, moving tables and bending etc.
