Our client, an Australian Owned Global Manufacturing company based in Melbourne's North is currently looking to appoint a Workplace Organisational Psychologist to join their well established business in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. Supplying product in to some of the world's largest global businesses, our client is looking to continually expand its range of services to its clients and this role is a critical part of their strategic growth plan moving forward.

They have a well-documented track record of investing in the creation and promotion of Workplace Psychology (WP) related knowledge in the Australia and SE Asian regional markets. This investment has been guided partly by a desire to gain a greater understanding of how WP can impact the physical work environment, and ultimately influence the direction of physical workplace solutions that our client provide to their customer base globally.

This role will provide support and expertise in linking workplace design developments and solutions to clients' needs and expectations. With recent pandemic enforced changes in the world of work, (including the reconsideration of the purpose of the office), Workplace Psychology is more relevant than ever before.

Your key focus will be to analyse existing research, (to assess for continued relevance, as well as undertake new research), to share with both internal & external stakeholders alike. This will include examining and analysing trends and developments in construction techniques; product materials and components; environmental considerations; workplace dynamics; and end user needs, along with identifying the relationship between workplace design and productivity levels.

Knowledge sharing and communication will be a critical component of this role and will take several forms, including:
  • White papers
  • Panel discussions
  • Internal presentations
  • External client consultation

To be considered for this amazing career opportunity, you will be Degree qualified in Social sciences and be a registered Organisational Psychologist with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior consulting role. Your key attributes must include proven research and analysis skills; effective communication skills; and the capacity to inform, instruct, and influence others.
