This large Government agency has an immediate requirement for a Workforce Analyst to jon their corporate Services team and be able to deliver analysis and insights to help leaders from within the business make more effective operational decsions.

Key accountabilities

  • Undertake demand pattern analysis and maintain currency of the workforce resource model for accuracy, completeness and relevance
  • Conduct resource planning for emerging and existing needs, including workforce modelling for new services and automation opportunities
  • Provide data, reporting and analytics to enable resource management across various teams within a Service Centre, including tracking of resource capabilities and career development pathways.
  • Develop and manage resource forecasting systems, including compilation of resource costs over time and workforce profile
  • Utilise technology and analytical tools to develop, analyse and report on people and other crossfunctional data sets and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Provide management support and recommendations to the Service Centre leadership team in the areas of workforce planning insights and predictive analytics.
  • Provide reporting and insights on operational metrics to enable improvements in operational efficiency and resource optimisation across the Service Centre.

    Also they would be looking for someone to assist with testing of Workforce Planning software to ensure that the right tension and flex is in place to meeting the dynamic operating models of each service lines, this is a project that would be ongoing. This role also allows the flexibility to work from home.
