The Opportunity
Chandler Macleod is looking to engage an experienced Workforce Operation Officer to join a well-established Federal Government Agency for a contract term to end on the 30th June 2022.
In this role you would sit within the NSW ACT Operations team is responsible for providing strategic, operational and administrative support to National Delivery. The team aims to lead and facilitate the development, management and implementation of innovative practice and change for National Delivery.

Job Specification
The APS5 Operations Officer is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to agencies objectives.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Undertaking project coordination activities including setting priorities in the delivery and management of projects and initiatives.
  • Leading and contributing to the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
  • Providing secretariat and chair support, including the coordination of speakers and key messages, agendas, minute taking and scribing.
  • Managing, collating, interpreting and analysing data to produce reports and dashboards that inform strategic and operational planning.
  • Contributing to the Innovation portfolio and progress ideas across key decision making bodies, specifically supporting NSW and ACT Innovation members, Subject Matter Experts and associated stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and actioning correspondence, assigning and actioning internal work items.
  • Coaching, mentoring staff and providing support on established technical, operational and administrative activities, procedures, practices and program/project objectives.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen and be eligible to obtain Baseline security clearance and comply with pre-employment background checks.
