A large and well known infrastructure business based in Western Sydney is looking for Reorting and Analysis Manager to lead a small team of reporting and analytics professionals,
The business is a major player in their field and work on major government and private building and infrastructure projects across NSW.
The position involves developing and delivering accurate and timely HSE performance reports across the business whilst analysing data to determine trends and issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Set and deliver the Health & Safety Reporting Team plan
  • Prepare and deliver board level reports on time with a high degree of detail
  • Thought leadership in the future of reporting and Analytics
  • Lead the Analytics team to execute the following:
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with HS, Operational and Corporate stakeholders
  • Point of contact for all proactive and reactive Health & Safety reporting issues and enquiries
  • Provide technical advice and solutions for the SAP EHS module
  • Development and distribution of all HSE performance reports, utilising Power BI, excel and similar systems
  • Data cleansing and integrity within the EHS system
  • Contribution to strategic Health & Safety programs (including project team membership and implementation within area or responsibility)
  • Health & Safety Management System implementation and improvement
  • Workers Compensation data and reporting
  • Any other tasks as requested or directed by Head of Health & Safety Services

Skills required:

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and engaging format
  • Advanced communication skills with the ability to synthesise and communicate complex technical ideas
  • Proven ability to understand commercial impacts to health and safety and ability to articulate risks to stakeholders in a commercial setting
  • Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Demonstrated experience writing board reports and managing multiple stakeholders throughout board reporting cycles
  • Experience utilising Power BI, Excel, Word, SAP Reporting, and other statistical reporting packages (e.g. Python/R, etc)
  • Demonstrated experience managing an analytical team
  • Proven research skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Relevant Industry experience in Construction, Energy or Utilities would be ideal but not a necessity
