Chandler Macleod a recruiting a Program Manager for a State Government Agency to lead the development and scope of work for the Departments 2 x key programs (i) Occupational Violence Strategy and (ii) Counter Violence Extremism.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and have met the scope and budget requirements.
  • Draft and develop project scope and objectives, including all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and budget allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate matters to the management as and when needed.
  • Establish relationships with the clients and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create a comprehensive project documentation process.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project. Attend conferences and trainings as and when required.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members. 

Ideally would be looking for someone who has previous experience working with Procurement Directorate in DoE
