We are currently seeking multiple welders for one of Newcastle’s leading steel processing, prefabrication, and distribution sites in Wallsend. Due to a significant increase in production and workload, we need welders to start ASAP. This role is accepting Welders with a range of experience, including trade qualified and hobby welders.

What’s on offer?
• Afternoon shift (2.30pm – 11pm)
• Rates from $36 per hour + penalties
• Ongoing work, long term casual with the potential to go PERM
• Overtime if interested in earning more $$$
• On-site training

To be successful in this role you will need:
• Welding experience
• A strong attitude towards safety in the workplace
• To have a positive and reliable attitude
• Ability to pass drug & alcohol test
• Current drivers’ licence

Duties will include:
• Pre-fabricating cages from simple 15kg structures to several tonne complex interlocking structures
• Coordinate and load prescribed truck loads with 3.2t or 6t gantry cranes
• General welding and fabrication
• Reinforcing steel cages
• Stock distribution work No matter your level of experience, there is a position for you.
