We are currently seeking applications for a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our reputable clients in Mackay.

Role Description: You will be managing the Mackay warehouse and provide logistical support to QLD Emergency Response operations. You will be required to guide warehouse staff to ensure all orders are dispatched in full on time and standard procedures implemented in a safe manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring and maintaining the client's stock integrity through cycle counts and timely inventory transactions.

Monday-Friday role with paid on-call on a rotating weekend roster.

Offering a competitive salary package $100K-$130K dependent on experience.

Skills Required:
  • Experience in warehousing and distribution (preferably Cert II or III in Warehousing Operations)
  • Experience in supervision and warehouse administration
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferably SAP or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Forklift Licence (and experience in forklift operations)

Education and Experience Required:
  • Cert III in Warehousing Operations or Logistics diploma or equivalent 5 to 10 years' experience in warehousing and distribution
  • 3 to 5 years supervisory experience

Responsibilities:
Safety, Health, Environment & Security:
  • Manage the implementation and compliance of employees working in the Logistics area to company policies, model procedures and initiatives in respect to SH&E
  • Recognise and respond to hazardous and emergency situations in accordance with training, Site procedures and/or
  • manufacturer's instructions
  • Manage the containment and disposal of waste
  • Manage the return and disposal of Operations Injection Chemical waste
  • Ensure the structural integrity of pallet racks
Operational Efficiency:
  • Provide direction and leadership to Assistants - Warehouse to ensure the delivery of goods within the timeframes
  • Ensure timely processing of all paperwork and customer products both inbound and outbound within specified times.
  • Maintain inventory transactions to ensure accuracy of stock.
  • Complete daily logs.
  • Freight booking.
  • Participate in the 'Call Out' Register and respond as required.
