Warehouse Store Person Wanted!!

Our client is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join their team based in Port Melbourne.
They provide lighting and gripping equipment to productions in Melbourne, as well as sending out vehicles for shoots with in-house lighting technicians.

As the warehouse coordinator your primary roles are to coordinate incoming and outgoing gear for hires, order replacement parts and organise repairs, as well as oversee the preparation of vehicles for shoots.
If you have the willingness and ability to learn new skills this is the job for you. Training will be provided as well as the experience to work on set during the training period to understand how all the gear, items, usage and set requirements work.

Tasks and Responsibilities (admin side)

● Warehouse experience at least 2 years
● Ability to follow protocols
● Administration of the warehouse overseeing all the operations across our organisation
● Liaising with our valued clientele by phone, email and face to face
● Preparing and packing rental orders as well as checking and processing orders
● Loading and unloading vehicles in preparation for on-set film shoots
● Physically & Medically fit and able to lift heavy items
● Fleet management, maintenance, and general service for vehicles

Task and Responsibilities (warehouse side)

● Inventory control of the warehouse and vehicles
● Experience with trade tools (eg. Power Tool, Tap and Die)
● Stock and warehouse maintenance and repairs as well as organise repairs with our own repairers
● Liaise with any sort of freight, parcel pick up or deliveries
● Clean and maintain warehouse / reception area
● Undertake gear tests to ensure working kits are sent on hires
● Satisfactory fulfillment of KPI's from Monthly Audits on Service, Equipment & Vehicles


● Licenses required - Full Manual License
● Must be able to drive large vans

Experience Recommended But Not Essential

● Knowledge of general company software
● Test and Tag
● Computer systems
● Inventory Management
