About the role:
The VPS5 Senior People & Culture Business Partner responsibilities include:
  • Effectively partner with hiring managers managers and employees, to support People and Culture's agenda in line with the overall aims of the organisation;
  • Provide high-level, proactive advice and support across multiple areas of HR including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Performance, Learning & Development, OH&S, Remuneration, Organisational Development and HR Reporting;
  • Work closely with other P&C team members to manage and administer SAP SuccessFactors;
  • Provide advice regarding interpretations and queries of legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines relating to the enterprise agreement
  • In conjunction with other P&C team members, manage end-to-end recruitment
  • Develop HR policies guidelines and procedures to support People and Culture-related best practices
  • Manage and deliver People and Culture project-related work as directed
About you:
Ideally you will have relevant education and experience in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations, as well as:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical working experience in contemporary HR theory and practice, especially in the areas of Generalist advice, Business Partnering, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organisational Development and HR Reporting.
  • Significant expertise using SAP SuccessFactors or a similar modern HR system.
  • Prior HR business partnering career experience, derived from working within a variety of different industries and/or corporate commercial environments.
  • Demonstrated track record in proactively delivering sound and contemporary HR advice and best practice methods.
  • Sound knowledge of and experience in delivering P&C Generalist services and support
  • High level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and develop relationships across all levels of the organisation and influence outcomes to meet organisation objectives.
  • Experience in recruitment, including candidate management and providing advice to managers.
  • Ability to develop policy and to create People and Culture procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to interpret legislation, regulations, policy and enterprise bargaining or industrial agreements.
