About the role:

  • The role is primarily concerned with assisting with the recovery and enable ongoing community support services
  • The position takes a strengths-based, recovery approach to supporting vulnerable and/or at risk consumers
  • You will be encouraged to develop and maintain relationships and provide direct support to individuals and/or their families

The person:

  • You will have the ability to listen
  • A compassionate and caring individual you will likely have lived experience of mental illness
  • Direct association with the Australian Defence Force (you must be ex ADF or be the spouse/partner of a veteran or currently serving personnel)
  • An organised, methodical and focused approach will complement your human centred interests

Benefits:

  • 12 month temporary assignment with the potential to extend
  • Full time hours - Monday to Friday - 7.5 hours per day (please note you must be flexible to work on a roster basis between 8am and 6.45pm)
