My client, a powerhouse (pardon the pun) within the Energy Sector is looking for an undergraduate "Mechanical" and "Chemical/Process" Engineer to join their team.

This role is for someone currently studying in the above disciples, in their 3rd or 4th year and looking to gain some valuable work experience in the field of their study.

Role: Undergraduate - Mechanical or Chemical/Process Engineer

Length: 8-12 weeks (potential to continue whilst at university)

Location: Sydney CBD (some travel may be required)

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Review and verify processes
  • Responsible for minor technical investigations
  • Writing technical reports
  • Working with the Project team on Project solutions
  • Be able to conduct health and safety walks on site
  • Work with the Engineering and operations teams
  • Able to draw process flow diagrams / gas diagrams

Looking for someone with:

  • Relevant degree (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering) with minimum credit average
  • Ideally has a driver licence
  • Ok with occasional state and interstate travel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Can communicate clearly - written and verbal
  • Self-starter
  • Problem solver
