About the role
We are partnering one of Australia's leading resources companies, to secure the services of an experienced Underground Project Geologist to be deployed at Leinster Minesite near in the Goldfields region of WA on a FIFO basis, commencing immediately.

The key requirements of the role include:

  • Wireframing
  • Block modelling
  • Design and review drill programs
  • Support the senior mine geologist and act in their absence
  • Review mine plans and plan appropriate de-risking strategies
  • Mentor and assist mine geologists and technicians

The assignment is for an initial period of 6 months and there is the opportunity for contract extension or transfer across to BHP staff for the right candidate.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

  • Bachelor of Geology
  • Strong preference for Leapfrog and Datamine modelling experience
  • Must have prior experience in a structurally complex UG environment
  • Provision of a current Drivers License and Australian working rights
