Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Training Support Officer on a contract for 12 Months.

Position Overview

The Training Support Officer will assist the Training Manager in driving the Learning and Support deliverables and activities for the Human Resources Information Management Solution (HRIMS), to ensure they are implemented in accordance with the HRIMS schedules and partner accountabilities and responsibilities. This role is responsible for the day to day co-ordination of administrative and logistical activities for the delivery and reporting of the training schedule. This includes liaison with stakeholders in business areas in support of the implementation of the HRIMS.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the preparation and rollout of the HRIMS learning and support stakeholder engagement sessions, including working groups, user acceptance testing and training delivery for the project.
  • Apply knowledge of project governance management in the role of secretariat for the Learning and Support Working Group.
  • Manage the logistics for the development of the learning and support materials and tools required to support the delivery of HRIMS end user training.
  • Assist in the development of communication products from the Learning and Support materials using SAP EnableNow.
  • Assist with the administration of the HRIMS SharePoint presence, project communications products and tools, and the recording of learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to the HRIMS change, communication and stakeholder engagement activities by adhering to the methodologies contained in the HRIMS Change Plan and Communications Plan.
  • Support and deliver on-line demonstrations and presentations.
  • Work collaboratively and operate as an effective HRIMS Program team member.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of the development, delivery and implementation of learning and development plans, materials and tools.
  • Experience in co-ordinating stakeholder engagement sessions such as working groups, user acceptance testing and training delivery in a project context.
  • A solid understanding of training delivery schedules and how to deliver in a project environment.
  • Experience in the use of MS Office Suite.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of a catalogue of learning and development resources. Books and organises learning events. Updates and controls training records, including attainment of certificates and accreditations.
  • Assists in preparations for evaluation of systems, products or services, and in the operation of the environment, facilities tools needed for effective evaluations. Assists in collection of feedback on prototypes and designs from users and others. Maintains the environment.
  • Uses recommended portfolio, programme and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking. Sets up project files, compiles and distributes reports. Provides administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings. Provides guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.
