Our  Government client is seeking to engage a Training Administrator on a contract for 6 months.
Position Overview
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the Business Training Co-ordinator, the Training Administration Officer will:
  • Provide a range of administrative support to ESA Training (ESAT), including
  • provide quality client service to internal and external stakeholders
  • respond to general ESA training enquiries by management of the ESA Training Mailbox
  • draft correspondence when required to stakeholders at all levels
  • assist with the co-ordination, scheduling and booking of training courses
  • preparation of training rooms including basic IT support
  • administer the ordering of resources for ESAT as requested
  • contribute to, and assist with, the revision and development of high-quality administrative procedures
  • Providing administrative support in meetings as required
  • 2Manage and process student enrolments into the student management system, VETtrak and VETenrol, daily.
  • Liaise with ESA employees at all levels, other Departments/Agencies and members of the public as required.
  • Assist ESA employees to ensure training unit objectives are achieved.
  • This position does not involve direct supervision of staff.

Professional / Technical Skills and Knowledge Required:
  • Demonstrated experience using a variety of computer systems including (but not limited to) the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to use tact and discretion in the management of sensitive information including training records.
  • Well-developed administrative, time management and organisation skills.

Behavioural Capabilities Required:
  • Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with key stakeholder, working collaboratively and providing high-quality support to others.
  • Ability to apply sound judgement and maintain confidentiality in relation to sensitive issues.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, and also autonomously.

Compliance Requirements/Qualifications Required:
  • Driver’s licence ‘Class C’ is essential.

Mandatory Requirements:
