Rural Tradesperson

Join a growing, highly skilled and energetic team whilst using your experience to make sound operational judgements and risk assessments. Located in Purga there is on-going employment available for those looking for longer term stability.

  • Ongoing role - Weekly roster 7am starts - 38 hour week
  • Starting from $42.50/hr + Allowances
  • Some weekend work required - Starting from $51/hr +
  • Outstanding management and working environment with long term employment on offer


Duties

  • Structural alterations and additions to facilities, including new installations
  • Welding and fabrication, carpentry, plumbing as licensed, general servicing, auditing and inspection
  • Preparation and painting, concreting, tiling, fitting and machining


Experience

  • Hold a current trade license required to carry out work
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Understanding of Bio Security protocols associated with working on breeder sites
  • Knowledge and understanding of poultry processes and operations
  • Ability to make quick and correct decisions "on the job"
