Being an industry leader in poultry farming and processing, it's no surprise that Baiada are one of the Riverina's largest employers. To keep the business thriving, Chandler Macleod have been tasked with sourcing multiply Trade Assistants to join the Hanwood based team.
Trades Assistants report to the maintenance manager and have direct working relationships with co-workers, electricians, fitters, maintenance subcontractors and production supervisors. Along with assisting in maintenance and repairs on equipment, TA's are tasked with maintaining the workshop and associated equipment in a safe, clean and tidy condition.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience working within a maintenance team preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Basic communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to make quick and correct decisions 'on the go'
  • Ability to work in a team environment to resolve and improve systems
  • Hand tool and power tool experience
